Recommend me some TPMS

Now that the new wheels are here, my plan is to use the OEM wheels as a winter set and keep the nice Type 398 as my summer ones. SO I am soliciting recommendations on the correct TPMS for the new wheels. IF it is something I can do myself it would be best, but it they need to be programmed by someone else, so be it.

I saw the thread with the Orange TPMS, but the site seems to be down or something. Any others?

TPMS can be found really anywhere I d pay no more than 25$ a pop for them. best place would probably be ebay just get the part number online or at the dealership.

to get them synced up any firestone or tireshop can do it. the infiniti dealership can do it too but they might charge. Discount tire and firestone never charged me

Although this was recently discussed in another thread... You can get quality sensors on Amazon, for example, for <$30. The dealer will charge you, maybe quite a bit, as I found out. You have three other options, as I see it:

- Take the car someplace that won't charge, or charge less...
- Buy the Ateq Quickset tool so that you can reprogram yourself.
- Buy "clonable" sensors so that they can be reprogrammed with the same IDs as your OEM sensors. I'm not sure if the $30 ones are or not...

...or just live with the light on...

Theres a DIY thread around here that shows how to program them yourself but I was never able to get it done. I even had a mechanic let me use his programming software and found no way to upload it to the car... 2 years now and I've given up on the light annoying as it is.

Theres also user Kevalteam on this forum who sells the correct TPMS for your car but im not sure if hes still active. I bought mine off him for 125$ back then.

I found the "new" part number for the TPMS and got them, 4 for $70. Includes maintenance/rebuild kit.

Now... tires.

What's the expected lifespan of the OEM TPMS sensors? I've been doing a search and haven't found anything yet except another Nissan related site said something about 10 years on the small battery.

OK great! I need new tires, and I'm going to stick with my current TPMS sensors for this next set (2011 G37x).

I think I missed out on a clearance you guys had on the Continental DWS (perhaps older model)...for $99ea.

I should have pulled the trigger a couple of weeks ago when you had 13 available. I recently checked and I think the only DWS I can buy now is over $130.
