G-FORCE COMP-2 A/S, EXTREMECONTACT DWS 06, or G-MAX AS-03

Ordering new A/S tires this weekend for my car to prepare for the winter. These 3 seem to be the highest rated in the category. I have a g37xS coupe so the rims are 19". Anybody have any experience with any of these and can chime in? Right now I'm leaning towards comp-2 a/s because of the price and the ratings on it are solid. I heard good things about the DWS 06 also but the price difference is big and the ratings seem to be about the same.

FWIW, I have the G-MAX on our AWD Honda CRV and can tell you from my experience they are not good in the snow. I would opt for the DWS. The tread pattern looks more conducive to clearing out the white stuff if you have to deal with it like I do.

I have a RWD and have had the AS/3 for almost a year. On dry and wet, the best all season tire I've ever driven on compared to other Michelin, Dunlop, Pirelli Good Year and General. On very light snow about one inch, I noticed slight slipping but it is expected with a RWD but several levels better than the Dunlop OEM. The only slight negative is that there was an increase in road noise. On my next set, I would consider DWS if it is less noisy than the AS/3.

I have had the DWS on my g35 6MT for several years. Been very pleased with the grip in rain and snow.

Low the DWS06's on the G. Great traction wet or dry and quiet too.

I have the General G-Max AS-03's on my Coupe and they are garbage. On dry roads they are relatively decent but in any type of rain or snow they are horrible. Not to mention the hideous amount of road noise and vibration. Would never buy again nor recommend to anyone.

Those are just my thoughts. Others love them, I don't.
