So it's time once again to change the tires on my car. it runs a 245 setup all around and current has Pilot Super Sports A/S 3
Great tires but they don't last very long at all and are kind of expensive.
What do you guys suggest for a good performance tire that costs a bit less and might last a little longer? (Obviously won't perform as well as PSS)

 

Continental DWS gets a ton of love on here for our cars.

 

Might consider a dedicated winter set, then go w/ new summer wheels & grippy tires for the nice time of year. Those DWS do seem to be well respected A/S tires around here

 

Ended up with Yokohama Advan A/S based on tirerack recommendation. they say they are better than the DWS. So far i am loving them, very grippy.

I do have my stock wheels i could use for winter but tbh i don't think it's worth it for the few days it snows.
