Hey fellow G drivers and various vendors. I'm looking for a little knowledge of wheel buying/selling to be passed down.

So I've been trying to buy a set of those sweet VSXX for a while now (5-6 months) and the other day I came across some sort of awesome sale from nextmod.com (via Instagram). The sale price was amazing. The normally priced $4200-4800 wheels were selling for $3100 even taxes paid. Of course I started the process of trying to buy them. 7-8 emails later myself and Jon@nextmod had locked in all the sizes & details etc and I was literally 2 seconds away from calling him to give him my debit card info to pay half the balmy up front remaining balance 3-4 months later on delivery from Japan.

He emails me just before I hit the call button and I see the works "Oh...Sorry Reddi" flash across the top of my screen.
Turns out this particular sale is only for Canadian residents only and there is some type of rule/law prohibiting shipping of wheels across the boarder. So I missed out on a set of gorgeous 20x10.5" squared set of VSXX in color scheme pictured above for $1700 less than retail price. Sad day I know...try living the two hours I discovered the sale before said sale ended and then getting your soul crushed 30 min before time expired.

This got me thinking (keep in mind I'm still a newb mostly....under a years worth of real experience) if this shop had a sale that had the wheels priced so affordably then there has to be other types of sales that I can find/wait for in the states where I can get the same price?? Right??

Thx for sticking around to the question portion btw. Do any of you guys know sale dates, open box sales, aka anything I can do or wait for to get the wheels I truly want for less than $3400?? If they can sell them to everyone in Canada for a week or 10 days at that $3100 price tag for any color scheme and less even if you wanted lower sizes than the 20x10.5" I just got brand new tires for....can't we find them in the U.S. Eventually for that same price? Help me to understand or to find this deal fellas. I'll forever be in your debt. Thx

 

Ok guys. I got the discount tire direct to be a peach and agree to accept my return or trade on the tires I bought. So plz gimme your BEST pricing for a set of 19" (x 9.5-10.5) price on a set of VSXX squared setup wheels ASAP. Actually give me a price on the wheels first...then include a price on some wheels n mid-range high mileage tires next. Plz. Choose some tires that have a mileage warranty like the Nitto Motivo's or if you have a better option I'm all ears. Include how long it will take for delivery and when you'll want full payment. Or if you want half down then the rest on completion of order. Seriously buyer here. I'm gonna give 2-3 places to chance to bid for my biz. Thanks and have a wonderful night.
