Im trying to sell my factory OEM wheels and tire but would like a better input on its value.
17x7.5 front/rear. Cast aluminum-alloy, Bolt pattern 5x114.3. Offset +45mm
Came directly off my 2013 sedan g37 journey. Car only has 13k miles on it (for tire purposes) and is in great condition.
Was thinking about selling all 4 wheels/tires for around $1200. Is that a fair yet competitive price?
Was thinking craigslist, then ebay.
Is there a better alternative for a better selling method?

Yep, the factory 17s are best kept in your garage for when you eventually bring you car back to stock when reselling or trading in. It's one of those items that everyone gets rid of and rarely anyone wants 
FWIW I sold mine a few years ago in mint condition for under $500 and wish I would have just kept them for the PITA shipping and the little profit involved.

My car is pretty new and I dont plan on selling/trading it in anytime soon. If I do, itll be after dental school so money then wont be a thang.
but 5-600$ with the tires included? The cheapest individual wheel for 17's on ebay was $130. I figure for a set of 4 wheels that would be 600. maybe at least 300 for my tires?

I agree with the other two responses... $1200 is way too high for OEM 17s. There's a set near me on CL for $550, with tires. Sets without tires are going for $400 - $700 on eBay, with... $500 to $1000. Compared to what somebody might pay new, from the dealer, yes, good price. Compared to what's "out there" on CL or eBay, no, sorry. I recently replaced the OEM 18s on my sedan and shopped used OEM 19s, as well as aftermarket 18s and 19s. I wasn't shopping for OEM 17s but, no offense, if I saw a set for $1200, I would have scratched my head in bewilderment. Like blnewt said, just keep em for what you'll get out of them. I'm keeping my OEMs. I'll put snows on them or just keep them for when I trade/sell. Many buyers, and especially dealers, don't want aftermarket wheels, let alone give you any additional value for them.
Search classifieds here and elsewhere on the Internet to see what they sell for and use that as a guide. Those wheels are the smallest and least desirable wheels for our car. The tires are 1/3 to 1/2 through their useful life. They're what people trade up from, not into. Hence the market for them isn't very much for them, new or used. If you get $750 consider it a win.

You're better off keeping them. First because those wheels' resale value is very low. Second because having aftermarket wheels on a car doesn't justify asking more for the car at sale time. When it does come time to sell the car, you won't be able to recoup the money you spent on the aftermarket wheels while they're on the car. In fact, they will make your car less desirable to buyers as VERY FEW will have the same taste you do. When it comes time to sell the car, put the stock wheels back on to maximize your target market and then sell the aftermarket wheels separately to recoup more money back.
The market for the stock OEM 17 inch wheels is most likely limited to non-enthusiasts looking to replace a rim they conked into a curb or bent hitting a large pothole. Based on the number of stock G37s I see throughout CA, I'd say you may be able to sell all 4 in time if you are patient.
If the wheels are in perfect shape, you could list them individually on eBay and sell one at a time. Of course you will need to figure out the packaging/shipping aspects, which can be a PITA.
You could also contact one of those replacement OEM wheels outfits online and see what they'd offer you.
Another apparent use case for the stock wheels would be to put onto a lease return, but most of those folks know they will be returning the car at the end of their lease and store the stock wheels for later use.

These wheels actually look pretty good on a 90-96 Nissan 300zx and I believe the Z31 generation behind that has the same offset & lug pattern, not 100% on the center bore or hub/lug centrics.
Could be a nice upgrade to an Altima S that is wearing factory hubcaps. Maybe certain year Maxima owners would be interested as well. Throw on some Nissan centercaps and who'd know the difference. Might find somebody with an older G35 with silly looking aftermarket wheels who'd be interested. Your target market and profitability is best outside of G37 owners for the reasons already explained.
Now and in the coming months are the best times to buy winter tires. Grab a set, mount them on these wheels and before you know it you have another market come fall.
Paint/powdercoat: maybe have these wheels refinished to appeal to different buyers. You'd limit your market, but would also set yourself apart from the 300 people trying to peddle the same set of stock wheels. Market might be smaller but turnaround quicker. Sometimes you have to spend money to make it. A silver or grey slightly different than stock might appeal to some, black might have its appeal to others, finishes vary - satin, semigloss, etc. Maybe somebody would like this set in bronze?
If you used your stock TPM sensors on your new wheels, find replacements for this set. Nobody wants to buy your wheels/tires, the have to buy their own sensors, then have to have them broke down to be installed. Capitalize on laziness, not frugalness. Bolt on and ready to go is important to a busy dude like me. Nothing wrong with used sensors on used wheels.

I am in the same boat as you, I was thinking of selling them to free up garage space but in the end I am going to keep them as spares. You never know when and if you are going to need them. If I were to sell them, then craigslist is the place to go. The best selling point you have is that the tires are in good condition, people will inquire just for that. But $400-600 is probably the best you're going to do.
