Really stupid Question!!!

I have a 2013 Coupe Journey. It has the 18x8 wheel package. I found some great looking Enkei wheels that come 18x7.5. Is there any reason to be concerned about the half inch width difference??? OK flame me...but I have owned a G since Dec 2002 (totaled August 8th 2014) and just got the G37!!

Not many people would recommend making the move to a 7.5" wheel, but it's a small difference. The offsets are more important. If you provide those, we can assist you further in determining the fitment. My recommendation is to consider a different wheel though, one that is at least the OEM size or larger, to make sure you don't degrade the handling of the car.

You have to worry about offsets, not width. Search around the forum a bit, there are a lot of fitment threads for wheels/tires.

Wheel Offsets!!

The OEM wheel has a 43mm offset...the enkei STR5 is a 42MM offset. Don't see a problem here. Am I correct??

Well, the combination of the offset and the width will result in the wheel being sunken in 5mm extra. This won't look great and may be an issue if there isn't 5mm of clearance between the caliper and the wheel.

Here is the tool I used (when you click on the link you will see that I preloaded all of your specs):

Online Wheel and Tyre Fitment Calculator. Offset, Tyre Stretch and Speedo Error | Will They Fit

Hey, that's a great tool, Ryne! Bookmarked.

Thanks...!

You have been very helpful. Still have some thinking to do. Take a look at the Enkei STR5 wheels and tell me what you think on a black G. Will be adding drilled rotors and painting the calipers black. Again Thanks!!!
