need good all season/winter tires for g37 oem 19's

I have a 2007 g35x sedan and i just got a set of 15 spoke 19's take offs that come on the g37 '11-'13 sport coupes/Q60 sport. Im currently running the oem 17's with the oem tire sizes (P225-55R17).

What size tires do i need for my new 19s? Obviously since i have AWD, the whole set is 19x8.5 so i need the same size tires.

figured you guys can help me out, this is my very first set of tires im going to be buying. THANKS!

245/40/19 is the size you want, as far as which tires, I don't deal w/ much snow so there would be better opinions from those that are in the snow belt.

I think what I would consider is using your 17s for the snow set and getting nice summer tires for your 19s.

+1 for getting winter tires on the 17" rims.

How much snow/ice are you looking into? There's winter winter tires like the Michelin X-Ice and Blizzak WS80 which will be great in deep snow and ice and then performance winter tires like the Dunlop WinterSports and Blizzak LM-32s which give you a blend of dry/wet performance and snow/ice grip.

For the 19's I'd go with Michelin Pilots. A/S 3 if you want all seasons or Super sports if you want ***** to the wall performance.

BTW, all these recommendations are money-is-no-object recommendations.

Best option would be snow on those 17" wheels. If that's outside the budget, then you could run a 225/45-19 (narrower = better for the bad weather months) or a 245/40-19 (for better spring/fall traction). Both sizes will fit the wheels and offer good all season options.
