Satin or Gloss Wheels?

Hello All

I am currently in the market for a set of 20" rims for my 2010 G37x.

I have run into the problem of not being able to make a decision on my own...

I know that I for sure want some wheels that have a deep concave look to them. But, that is all I know.

I have the Moonlight White paint on my vehicle. With 20% tinted black windows, black gt-r style tail lights, and in the process of getting my grille and roof painted gloss black....

Any suggestions for my project are welcomed. Please help!

Thanks all

Yep, just wrap the roof in gloss black vinyl, much safer and reversible.

Why not paint it? I was quoted at a local car shop for the wrap and labor would be around $500.

So, I called a local painter and he said arounf $550 for paint and labor. Also, I would be getting the decals, and grille painted black at the same time for an extra $100.

Back to the wheels though, Gloss or Satin!?

You could get vinyl cheaper.

As for the wheels.. its all about preference. Gloss black wheels tend to make the tires seem dirty or dry more often than not. Flat colored wheels, in dark shades tend to make the rim itself seem dirty or dry. If your OCD about cleaning your ride then its all up to you on that note.

I Just installed TSW Sochi 20's on 37S. Go with the wrap not the paint.Once you paint you might not like the look. To Me the black Roof on the G's just looks off.
