Looks great! Only thing I'd address is the front license plate holes. And +1 for tint. Glad to hear you are gainfully employed again - I've been laid off a few times, its no fun.

Looks great! Like phimp20 said, simple and clean.

The only other things I would consider would be the OEM front lip, possibly the OEM rear spoiler, and the Stillen roof spoiler. But it looks great as is!

 

The wheels are balanced Brad.. My worry is that during certain alignments they attach wheel clamps to read the specs. In doing so, they clamp to the rim. I guess according to my mechanic there are places that attach to the bead of the tire instead.

 

As for the license plate.. Observe the Rejected sticker in the left of the windshield

Ma law requires front/rear plates and I was just due for inspection. I had order a front plate which I misplaced. boooo

 

I actually got some vibration from the front end today. Not sure if it was due to the alignment or if the lugs needed re-torquing. I got home and torqued the lugs to 80LB ft per.

Hope that settles it.

I used to be in love with the silver spoke G coupe wheels, but since I have seen these installed on my cars color and the more aggressive offset it all just comes together. I even love how the tire looks mounted on the rim itself..

The car really has attracted a lot of attention lately. Pretty funny the difference a clean drop and wheels make to sporty looks of car.

 

Car looks great! An oem lip and rear spoiler and akebonos would really set it off even more! This setup looks so much more aggressive in person than the regular coupe 19's.

 

Agreed on the aggressive part..

I sure hope to do the Akebono's and maybe front lip, but likely after winter months.. I could go crazy modding, but seeing the cash flow in out in droves, doesn't make sense right now.

I need to come up with a solution probably KYB's all around with the swifts. The OEM's are just over-matched.

 

Think I said it in another thread but man those look great! Not as aggressive (design-wise) at the sport coupe 19s, but certainly a more dignified look that complements the G sedan just as well

On top of that, seems the fitment is much better than sport coupe 19s, and that drop is also pretty much on par with what I'd do (if and when the time comes...), looks to avoid the impracticality of the super low suspensions while achieving a noticeably more athletic stance

 

I'm anxious to see how you feel about the kyb. I was debating on going with the FA coilovers since they seem to have positive reviews. I'm thinking of going with the stillen supercharger next summer so I need to get a tranny and oil cooler put on soon.

 

The stance looks pretty legit. +1 on the tint suggestion.

The front plate holes kill me though. If you're planning to take off the front plate after inspection, then i think there's a DIY to make front plate plugs.

 

What was the going rate for these when they were available? You guys were getting deals right?
