I have some curb rash on my 2009 G37S's stock rims. I was quoted $140 per wheel by a mobile wheel repair shop to repair them. Does anyone know if the stock G37S rims are painted and clear-coated? Or are they simply polished aluminum? I ask because if they are polished aluminum, then I don't see why I couldn't repair them myself with some fine wet sandpaper and metal polish.
