Help Work wheels disk type with Akebono BBK
Work wheels disk type with Akebono BBK
I have a G37s sedan with stock Akebonos and coilovers.
I'm on the verge of placing an order for Work VS-XX with step rim. Looking for 20x9.5/10.5 setup. I want to maximize my lip while running a stretch tire (225/35 and 245/35). I've been told by a few people that I have to run T-disk in the front and A-disk in the rear.
Looking at Work's spec sheet, I'm leaning towards 20x9.5 +17/+29 T-disk and 20x10.5 +32/+45 A-disk. I'm open to using a small spacer to fine tune the look I want, but I don't want to be over aggressive in order to avoid a fender pull.
To give you a better idea of what I want, I'm currently running 20x9.5 +20 (nice flush look) and 20x10.5 +25 (too aggressive for me). Maybe I can go with a +45 and a 5-10mm spacer in the rear.
For you that have Work wheels and Akebonos, what disk size were you able to get away with and what was the minimum spacer size you used?
