I'm such a sucker! R U ?

Own 2013 G37xS coupe.

Here's the story:
Bought my beloved G 10 months ago. I love it love it lovit!
In the past few months I did my first ever track day (lots of fun, but i sucked ) . A few weeks ago I participated in SCCA autocross school ( full day for first timers ) . I did much better, but there was one thing I could not ignore: the car performed only so so. The stiff suspension and the big brakes of the Spot pkg helped a lot, but taking corners was not so easy. Even the guide that drove my car said that my G can not take turns
At the end of the day I had a good conversation with the head of the school program and he recommended getting summer tires instead of my A/S (many of you are probably saying Daaahhh.... )

I decided to give it a try....worst case Costco would take them back in 30 days.
Got 4 new Michelin Pilot Super Sport and....I LOVE MY CAR EVEN MORE....IT'S AWESOME!!!
I never believed that $1100 can upgrade my car so dramatically . These tires stick to the road like a stink bug sticks to your wall when you try to vacuum it ( sorry...mainly east coast private joke). Also, the ride has less road noise and bumps "feel" better (compared to the 19" stock Yoko A/S).
If you are driving stock A/S and you want to enjoy your G even more get new summer tires! ( and cry when it's time to put your A/S back in the winter....but hey...Costco would do it for $40).

So why am I a sucker you must wonder???!!!
Because I didn't do it 10 months ago....

I'm such a sucker...... R U??????

Bought my car used with npotenzas so didn't have to deal with not having summer tires.

For something like Autocross, that's the biggest difference you can make on a stock car. Night and day difference in handling. Good luck at your next track day or autocross. Almost everyone sucks at first.

What types of mileage are people seeing with the PSS tires? I'll be switching up rubber in the next few months so I'm starting to research now. Rochester swears by those PSS tires.

Get some sway bars and you'll rip that track apart. Sway bars are an absolutely massive difference.

Update:
Just got back from my first track day with PSS tires. They are awesome!!!!!
If you are on the fence, go get them, you won't regret it.

PS - road noise is better than the stock Yoko A/S

All street. I live in Atlanta. So, lots of curves and hills. I drive fairly aggressively. The fronts are now nuked and I'm looking for new wheels.
