I just finished spending what felt like 20 hours polishing the lips on my 3pc wheels and got to wondering if I could do the same to the faces of my CV7's. I tried searching the web but didn't find anything about doing this, but has anyone seen the regular polished vossens taken out to a mirror like shine? I can't seem to find out exactly what type of metal the cast was. Mostly because the searches get convoluted with info on the forged aluminum models.

I'd only be doing the faces. Chances are I would repaint the rest of the wheel a different shade of silver as well.

Either way, I was just curious if its been done. I wasn't dead set on doing this, although they will be changed somehow after I put my other wheels on.
