Question Any idea what to do w/ used tires?

Since upgrading to 18s, I don't know what to do w/ my stock 17s with Goodyear tires. They are in great shape (only 25k miles on them).

Should I eBay them? I have them on Craigslist, but the best offer I've had so far is $290 bucks. I'd rather keep them as backups then sell them for that.

Thanks!

Here's my Craiglist listing:

I'm considering eBay, but I honestly have no idea how to go about shipping something like x4 wheels/tires. LOL. Thanks!

there's a classified section here.... if you don't want to ship you can specify a local sale.

I'd keep them unless you can get a really good price, you can always put it back to stock when you sell your G then sell your aftermarket rims or put them on your next car if they'll fit.

I'm a hoarder. I keep things that I don't need. For instance, I've switched over to Stoptech rotors and pads, but still have my oem ones sitting around. Same thing for my upcoming suspension; I'll be keeping my oem stuff. You never know when you'll need to switch back.

Very good points about keeping OEM wheels/tires. I'll hoard them unless I get an offer I think is good. Thanks!

Put it this way, I wish I would have kept mine, I sold them for like $400, but when the time comes to sell my G I have everything EXCEPT the OEM wheels
so I can put my G completely back to stock but will have large wheels & tires that will look completely wrong on a stock G

A different perspective: the tires will age, dry rot and essentially be worthless after they're 4-5 years old. I imagine they're already 1-2 years old, so you have 3-4 years of storage. If you plan on keeping the car longer than 3-4 years, then sell the tires. Tires are a depreciating asset essentially. If you think you may sell the car before then, then keep the tires and slap em on before you get rid of the car.

Wheels won't really deteriorate over time, the above applies strictly to tires.

Also, you can keep your listing up until you receive an offer you're happy with. You've got time to wait for an offer you're happy with
