09 G37 Journey(non sport) coupe. OEM 18x8 Non Staggered question.
09 G37 Journey(non sport) coupe. OEM 18x8 Non Staggered question.
I just bought a 09 G37 coupe with low miles. I absolutely love the car.
I've searched for a definite answer to this but couldn't find the answer.
The OEM wheels that came with my coupe are 18x8 enkei all around. I love how this wheel looks because it reminds me of my old 07 335i sport coupe's factory wheels.
I want better traction, but want to keep the OEM wheels. I had a fishtailing incident going uphill during rain on the stock V rated tires(4 x 225/50R18). In your opinion, what is the best choice from these three solutions I came up with? I live in S. California, no snow ever.
1. Michelin Pilot Super Sport in 225/50R18 all around.
2. Pilot Super Sport 225/50R18 Front, 245/45/18 Rear(would this width be a problem with all four wheels being 18x8?).
3. Pilot Super Sport 245/45R18 all around (problem with 18x8 wheels all around?)
Thanks in advance. I just want the best traction and handling possible with these stock wheels.
