Lug Nuts for my VOSSENS - Opinions Welcome
Just got the call from my shop that my wheels arrived today, but between work and weather, I won't be able to put them on for at least another 2 weeks. So it'll be a race to see who gets them on first.
I won't be buying lugs until I get a visual of my wheels on my G first, so many damn options.
Damn you Winter.
Shoot, I'm paranoid even in my driveway and I'm in a good neighborhood. But I live on a corner where my car is visible to a lot of traffic so you never know.

This is great.. exactly the thread I am looking for. I have CV3s and obviously stock lugs are too big. Last spring when I installed them I used some cheap lugs from Advance Auto. Was lazy later and managed summer with them. Now looking to buy some quality lugs. I found something online and these are the specs. Can you please let me know if these will fit.
1. Threaded to 12X1.25mm
2. Made from 7075 aluminum.
3. Lugs weight 27 grams each.
4. 60 degree conical style seat.
5. 50mm long and 24.5mm wide.

Funny. I didn't even know about that thread. 2300+ posts of car ****.

They'll fit because of the thread size/pitch and the conical seat.
27 grams is one gram less than an ounce, meaning these are very light-weight aluminum. Keep that in mind when installing and removing. Always thread them in by hand, and use a torque wrench to tighten. And never, ever over-tighten.
Unlike the VOSSEN CV5 and CVT, the CV3 has a more shallow (flat) hub area, just like the CV7 and other models. 50mm is a very long lug nut. Combining those two designs means the nuts will be sticking out in a very noticeable way. If that's your intent, that's fine.

While the mcgard lug locks stick out a little bit I really don't think it's that bad. You paid a grip for wheels/tires I'd say put them on. Spline lugs are a very common lug so I don't think it would deterrent anything. At least if someone see the lock they would notice right away that it has locking lugs.

Anyway, with that consideration in mind, I bought an extra socket adapter.
I also bought some aluminum hubcentric rings for the installation. It seems I'm collecting all kinds of things while waiting for Winter to end.

I would say Silver Spline in my personal opinion.

Do you have any pictures of the ones you offer? And do you have any that fit the lug wrench that comes with our cars?
Has anybody had any experience with the brand Godsnow lug nuts? There's a set of godsnow formula lugs that look very similar to the volk Rays 3 piece design but the main portion of the lug is gunmetal rather than chrome. I love the way they look and the price for a set is around $75. Just curious if anyvody has traveled this road before.
