It means the mounting surface of the wheel is 45mm outside it's centerline, if it's a +45 it means it's 45mm toward the outside of the wheel, if the offset was - it would be offset toward the inside of the wheel. The more positive the offset the more the wheel sinks in to the fender. The stock Infiniti wheels have offsets in the +45 range. If you want to order an 8" wheel that is more flush to fender you'd be looking for something like a +35.
Hope that makes sense.
The big brake upgrade is no longer Brembo, it's made by Akebono. Any G37"S" Coupe 2008+, any RWD G37"S" Sedan 2009+, any G37X"S" Coupe.
What about the G37xs sedan does it have the big brakes and if I buy wheels say for a coupe will the offsets ect be diff for the sedan? Cuz I want to upgrade the brakes eventually

I ain'tcher cousin. As has been said before, the G37Xs only has the aesthetic changes for the sport package. It lacks the big brake kit and larger sway bars that make the normal RWD G37S more "sporty." Be careful when buying staggered wheels meant for a coupe and trying to make them fit onto any AWD car. Switching from the OEM G37XS brakes to the akebono Big Brake Kit is a popular mod.

I appreciate the help I have a 37x sedan not the S and I really don't want staggered wheels anyway but thanks for the info, so If I buy wheels for a 10 G37xs coupe non staggered they will fit just perfect on my sedan? Yes I'm a noob sorry buddy I'm not new to the car scene just to the G scene thanks again

No worries. They will fit as far as rolling diameter goes, and I *suspect* that they will fit fine for offsets also. Brad is the guy to ask about that. The issue with AWD G37's is that the AWD system gets very unhappy if your rolling diameters differ more than 3%.
The problem you MIGHT run in to is that the G37XS coupe does NOT come with the big brake kit, thus the OEM wheels have no need to clear the big brake kit. If you put X coupe wheels on your X sedan, they might fit fine with your regular brakes, but you might run in to troubles when you decide to upgrade to the big brake kit. Get me?
