235/60/18 on fronts work?

235/60/18 on fronts work?

just a quick question...will 235/60/18 fit the fronts of my S? I know stock is 225/50....

^ uhh, no. the OD on the 235/60 will be 8.4% larger than stock 225/50. that is way over the recommended variance of +/- 3%. at 60mph your speedo would be off by more than 5mph. plus, it would look like a truck tire.

OP - i suggest you use the tire size calculator tool in the TECH section.

If you want a 235 or 245 width you need 235/45/18 or 245/45/18.

Using a tire with such a large sidewall will also cause your G to handle strangely. Braking will be thrown off and you'll cause some ABS problems too. Don't do this!

ok seems like the consensus is a no, was just asking as I ran across a good deal on some Goodyear Eagle F1's, but I'll just stick to the oem 225/50, thanks all for your input
