Discount Tires Scratched My Sport Wheels

I had my rear tires replaced with Michelin Power Super Sports and I checked out my wheels before and after and noticed a big gash on the lip after they installed the new tires. So I asked them about it and they offered to discount my tires but you know I'm making them replace it right? Either the Enkei are not very tough or they used excess force on the pry bar to break the seal on the tire mount machine.

No normal wheel should get damaged while getting tired installed and if they do it because of user error. Definitely push to get the wheel fixed or replaced on top of tire price discount.

Costco scratched mine even though I provided a sleeved lug nut socket, discussed with the dept mgr (who did the wheels) and expressed that the car had 1000 miles on it , also we inspected them. He told me about the plastic head covers on the machine and all and that they had just done an M3 the day before and no issues.

Chipped them all to hell.

Long story short, I now have 4 black chrome version (OEM) to replace my stock gray/silver 19s that came on the car. Took a month to get to someone in their HQ, the installer said he was careful blah blah but in the end we became pretty good friends lol.
