Front wheel rattling
Front wheel rattling
Just finished a long road trip and noticed an annoying noise coming from my front left wheel. It sounds like something is rattling, typically occurs on uneven roads, slight turns, and sometimes under light braking. I can only notice it when the window is down.. Anyone experienced anything similar or have insight on what it could be and how to fix it?

I don't know, I'm a DIY guy so I've never paid anyone to do it and I haven't had to on this car. If I recall, the bearing was about $70 or so on my Maxima. I don't know how much labor a dealership shop would charge. Maybe 2 hours or so? It is something that should be covered by warranty for certain. Keep in mind that I don't know if that is your problem. I just threw a guess out there by your description of the sound. It's really hard to diagnose something like this on the internet.

It's 2011. CPO or not, it's still covered under factory warranty so I would bring it into the delaership and let them fix it on their dime. Unless you drove over something that would have caused damage, I wouldn't worry about paying out of pocket for it.
Have you done a visual inspection under the car? It could be one of the many panels underneath that might have had a screw work loose as well. Would be worth a look imo.

Of course, checking out a wheel bearing is not that hard; just jack up that corner and give the wheel a spin and a shake...
