G37 sedan, offset questions..

Hi guys, after months of having my G sedan, I told myself that I would do things to it before I make an account and put myself and my car out there, but I dilemma came up pertaining to wheel fitment and offset. And being the only person I know that drives a g37 and is on the course to doing suspension work to it, I made an account early to ask you guys for some insight and help.

I am curious as to know what you know or think the lowest offset size for wheels can be to fit your G sedan lowered on coilovers with rolled fenders WITHOUT having to buy front camber arms. I just wanna tuck and be able to still turn my wheels without any real problems. Minor rubbing of the sidewall isn't an issue but I just want to hear what others have to say about my fitment. My wheels are 19x9 in the front with +24 offset but I have these 32mm spacers for the fronts too so that would put my offset at -8 offset, would you think that will still fit tucked in my fender without any turning issues? I know, my offset it pretty aggressive. I'm sure this question has been asked before, but being that this is the first time I've ever done one of these forums, I wanted a real interaction and people answering me and not 3rd person.

I don't know the exact answer to your question, but I will say this. Personally, I don't know why so many people are concerned with offsets when it's a factor of your width and camber. I mean, you say you're "-8" on your offset, but try running a 10.5" up front, and then +25 doesn't seem that bad. I mean, I'm sure if you wanted to run 8" wheels you could probably go like -25 offset if you really wanted do; but that's exactly my point. It's a combination of width, offset, and camber that really matters.

TL;DR: figure out what stance you want and stop being concerned with a number.

Here's the thread you're looking for, it's a ton of pages but there should be some good info for you. Those offsets you mentioned are very aggressive for a sedan, and like Crazyjay mentioned, more info is req'd. BTW rear fenders ARE rolled from the factory.

I ran 18x9 0 offset R-disk (clears big brakes) and 18x10 +5 O-disk (more lip) on my old sedan. However it was very low and I ran stretched tires.

It all depends how crazy you really want to get. Camber played a MAJOR roll on getting wheels to fit.
