Interesting tire info
Interesting tire info
Ok the stock Dunlop tires suck.. not really very good at anything, noisy, hard riding, just ok wet, just ok dry, just an average not so great tire. I've been researching what to replace them with and I thought this info was kind of interesting:
225/50/18
Dunlop Sport Maxx ( stocker's) 28lbs
Bridgestone Potenza RE970 27lbs
Michelin Pilot Sport AS/3 27lbs
Continental Extreme DWS 25lbs
Michelin Primacy MXM4 24lbs
I'd pretty much decided on the Primacy's, I've has them before and they stick great wet or dry, do light show pretty good, are quiet as all get out, and soak up bumps really well... Add to that they are 4lbs a tire lighter than stock.. win win win..Now just got to wait for the Michelin rebate program to come back around.
