H&R DRS 5MM Spacer (Front)

Looking to install H&R spacers on my front. I'm currently running +20 offsets on custom wheels and want to take it down with 5mm spacers. I have no frame of reference with spacers so I'm seeking any information someone with first hand experience can provide with pros and cons of having them...really just interested in the cons as they really only serve one purpose. I'm interested in install comments, potential fitment issues, negative ride effects (if any), and anything I may need to know before purchasing them. My goal is to be +15 on the front but if that means that i am giving up on any relevant aspect of my ride quality, I rather not pursue them

Wheel spacers are not going to have any effect on your ride quality. With 5mm wheel spacers you'll find are the ones without the built in wheel studs. 5mm is about the max you can use on the stock wheel stud as well.

Wouldn't that depend on the brand? I'm being told that 5mm from H&R only come with longer studs that are necessar...the DRS model. The DRM isnt manufactured in 5mm

What quaker means, is that with 5mm spacers, you might be ok with the OEM studs.

Of course DRMs only start at 15 MM

Got it. I got the DRS with longer studs. More labor intensive but with my luck I'll end up needing them especially since I'm on a custum setup

I run 15mm Project kics spacers in the front with built in studs. No issues. It does ride slightly differently than without spacers (I'm not on spacers right now as I'm breaking in my new brakes.) Seems a little more skittish without them in (could be just in my head) but really a non-issue.
