Smile Thanks to your suggestions my pockets are empty.

And I am grateful. I had a few heart attack moments with tramlining thanks to the POS Eagle RSA stock tires. Did some research here and found a wealth of information. These Conti Extreme DWS just arrived and will be mounted Monday. I'll report back and let you know how they perform, but I am hopeful that this will kill the tramlining and restore my sanity.

Thanks for making this site such a killer resource for newbies.

Wow...lol DWS's... someone dug deep on these... Congrats!
A friend of mine runs these on his Bmw... swears by them too... Very stiff tires... yet he says unforgiving around corners... just meaning they stick to the road and no slide...

Congrats again...

May your wallet rest in peace!

Amen...

Lol

DWS will be rather soft, but has good grip.

DW (not S) gets my recommendation for a better all-around tire, unless light snow is involved.

I live in Vermont and have never bothered with dedicated snows on AWD vehicles - I can get away with a good all season tire...

Congrats on the HUGE upgrade, now you can drive your G like it was meant to be driven. Never had such a poor tire as the RS-As, those things belong on a 200 hp Kia, not a 300+ hp car

Deep into the pockets? What they run $600-$700??? Not trying to be rude just don't comprehend how one has to dig deep to replace tires?

Get yourself a set of Toyo R888's if you want to really push your G. I can't wait to try the Pilot Super Sports I ordered!

$700 is more than pocket change to poor people like me but it's much easier than the amount I 'had' to spent on staggered PSS.

The DWS's are fantastic tires and they do well in snow for being all-seasons, big upgrade from stock.

You're "poor" but purchased a $35k-$40k car? Would've been wiser to purchase a $15K-$20k car and have money saved for maintenance and emergencies. And we wonder why America is in the finical state it's in.

Darn rich people with built Z's.

p.s. I paid nowhere near 40k on my G. Although i'm sure it's already broken that ceiling after all the mods and maintenance all these years. Now, i'm poor.
