20" wheel?

20" wheel?

i know it maybe a dumb ? but i was looking around and couldn't find what i was looking for. well heres my question i was thinking of getting some 20x9 wheels all the way around and was wondering would a 40 offset work or in what range should i look out for and whats the biggest size tire could i put on it and no i dont plan on lowering it, thanks in advance

Coupe or Sedan?
20x9 +40 would be fine for Sedans, pretty sunken in for a coupe unless you're willing to use spacers. If you have Akebonos you'll need to make sure you'll have the clearance there as well.
245/35/20 to 255/35/20 would be the tires I'd go with on 9" width.

its a coupe and i was wondering with a 255/35 up front will there be any issues will turning and is it possible to put a 255/40 upfront?

That is pretty weak sizing for a coupe. You can put a 255 up front and won't have issues with rubbing.

With a Sedan you'll be fine w/ 255/35/20s on a 9" rim w/ +40 offset.

Im running 20x9 (32) 245/35 and 20x20.5 (42) 275/30 no spacers no rubbing. planning on installing BBK soon.
