This is the look I want. The only problem is that these rims weigh 30lbs...

Can't say i like the wheel design either, but at the end of the day it's all about your own preference.

You may also want to look into getting lighter weight tires. I found that to make the most noticeable difference and i've had lightweight 19s, 18s and heavy anchor 20s.

It's funny how people's tastes are so different. What's your favorite wheel? (Just out of curiosity)

Supposedly the Conti Extreme DWS are one of the lightest tires. Supposed to be 26lbs for the 285/30/20.

Funny thing is I hated the stock wheels at first, but they've kind of grown on me. I'd probably keep them if I didn't risk screwing the car up using spacers.

I know you didn't ask me, but anyway... if I didn't have priorities on performance mods before bling, an outstanding car loan, and just happened to have a couple grand burning a whole in my pocket, I'd get the Vossen VVS CV3.

At least, these are the rims that give me a big case of the want-its.

CV3s at 27 F and 28 pound R are an excellent choice.

For the G Sedan, would that be 19"x8.5" front, 19"x10" rear? And do these clear the Akebono BBK?

Specifically (and for future reference, Diego ) what is the appropriate bolt pattern and offset to get the CV3's on the G-Sedan?

Such a beautiful design. So simple and elegant, particularly in matte black with machined spokes and that thin machined lip. Damn, I really want these rims.

When I spoke with a rep at Vossen they told me all the wheels were more or less a similar weight. Somewhere in the 30-33lb range. I like some of the Vossen wheels, I just would like something as light or lighter than the factory wheels. My 085s weigh 62lbs with my 26lb tires.

If they had these in 20" w/ sedan offsets they'd already be on my car, they do offer them in sedan offsets in 19" though b2 auto designs has great deals on them too

Ok, my bad.
I like you car as is. I thinks the other wheels would be too much chrome, and too busy.

I was writing about these rims on another forum, and a buddy there quickly said, "beautiful, but at 30+ pounds... no." And the VOSSEN website doesn't seem to list wheel weight specs, or at least not that I can find.

Weird. Maybe Diego can explain. I suspect the weights he quoted were for the 19" CV3's.

26/27 for the 19s and also the bolt pattern is 5x114.3. All clear the brake calipers on the S. Offsets available are +32/38. Thanks for your interest and support, PM me with any questions.

I have specs on all wheel weights and me being a G37 owner and having all CV1-7 can tell you CV3s are our lightest at 27/28 pounds F&R in 20s. Even CV1s weighed in at 29/30 F&R and CV2 at 30/31. 19s are at 26/27 vs stock 19s at 26 1/2 & 27 1/2 F&R.

We also will have our new Vossen Precision Series LIGHTWEIGHT forged wheels (an completely IN HOUSE EFFORT) debuting early 2013 for those that want to take their Vossen Performance to the next level and it will be priced accoordingly.

That's not too bad compared to stock. The rims I was originally posting about are forged as well, thus the light weight. Any idea what the ballpark weight will be on the Vossen forged wheels? I'm very interested to hear more about them.

I think the Vossen official weight for my 085s is 31/33lbs right? Five pounds at each corner makes a big difference...ten pounds even more.
