Question about 275/35/19s on rear stock sport wheels
I need new tires for my rear wheels; I was thinking about going with a wider setup. I am on an eibach drop and have 25mm spacers; do y'all think going with 275s in the rear will rub? thanks

I had to go down to 15MM, even with fender liner, and bumper bracket trim.
Im on Swift springs, and Koni shocks, which are stiffer, but similar drop.
thanks for the response, how wide do you think I can go without having rubbing issues? id rather not have to downsize my spacers.
If you want to stay within the % tolerances for your speedometer, then I think you will need to stay with the stock size at 245 in the rear. If you do 255 or 265, your speedo will be off. If you do 275/35, then your speedometer will read fine, but you will rub with 25 mm spacers.
Take a look at your car right now and put some weight in the trunk and look. With 25mm spacers in the rear and the stock tire size, you should be pretty close and probably dont have any room for a wider tire.

yea you are right, it looks like I will be sticking with stock sizes. Thanks for the input guys
245/40-19 and 275/35-19 will fit fine, even on springs, with the oe wheels and NO spacers. Can't promise you wont have problems if those spacers are staying.
Recent upgrade on tires/wheels: i am on swift springs 275/35/19x10.5 in the rear +22 offset. i'm rubbing when i go over dips in road, bumps etc. I dont even carry passengers in the backseats anymore because its worse with extra weight.
options: roll my fenders or more (-) camber alignment..we shall see!
no idea. no alignment yet. installed spc camber & toe. I spoke to a mechanic, they said getting a camber alignment will not do much. best option would be to roll the fenders.
