TPMS and winter wheels question

i'm about to buy a set of winter rims/ tires. i've read that if i don't get the tpms sensors my warning light will come on. if i go that route and ignore it all winter, will it automatically go back off in the spring when i put the oem wheels/ tires back on? thanks.

The light is not overly intrusive either; even at night.

Not sure what year you have, but you can get aftermarket modules fairly cheap. I bought some Orange TPMS modules off Amazon for my '09 for $140 or so.

Keep in mind to install sensors you'd have to pay for dismounting and remounting of the tires. I'd go ahead and do it now if you're debating it.

I also went with aftermarket and saved a lot of coin. They work great. I used the ITM brand.
