Wow Diego, those are some gorgeous wheels, the subtle directional design really goes well. What finish is that? Under some of the lighting it looks like a touch of bronze, at any rate, way to push the edges of what can be done w/ these cars. Superb!

Just a word of warning from a previous dealer for Forgestar wheels. Stay far away from Forgestar products. If you are interested in more info please send a DM.

Newby Questions

First off, pardon my newbness. I too am a huge fan of meaty, functional tires with a flush stance. I have a '12 G37S coupe. I've been eyeballing the Vossens. I'd like to drop the car a bit with Tein coilovers(and the Stillen sway bars if that matters), so if I prefer meatier tires and plan on dropping (not slammed), should I go with the 19" wheels over the 20" wheels?
I tried using the "Width Offset Calculater", but all the measurements and calculations are putting it a little over my head. I need help from some of you big-brains with this. I'd like enough tire to protect the wheels in case of a slight brush with a curb. Was thinking something like the 19" Vossen CV3s at 8.5" in the front and 10" in the rear. With those size wheels, what would be a good size tire?
245/30-19 front
285/30-19 rear ----would these sizes be meaty enough?

I'll take any and all suggestions/info! Thanks!

Tire sidewall series are off, but you have the widths correct
You want to keep the front & rear sidewalls (rolling diameter) close to each other so running 245/40/19 front 285/35/19 rear would be a good setup. Your wheel offset is also critical and the amount of room to clear your big brakes in front is also a concern. Offsets in the +25 to +30 front and +35 rear will get you a good fit w/ those wheel & tire sizes w/ a drop. If you want 20s you can run 245/35/20 and 285/30/20 with the same width rims as the 19s you listed.

Cool, with the 20" wheels, do you see the tire sizes you recommended being big enough to protect the rims? Thanks for the help!

I run 245/20 on 8.5 and 295 on 10" rims and since they're not a stretched mount and the tires have protection ribs the rims are protected, although any bonehead parking job or curb crash will get by the "wall of protection"

The main thing w/ 20s is the firmer overall ride, if you don't mind more road feel it's a good option but is something to be aware of.

Also keep in mind 20" tires are typically quite a bit cheaper than the same size 19s, so that's a definite plus
