New Stance SC5 owner

I just wanted to share some pics of my new Stance wheels. Big thank you to Eric from GetYourWheels.com for putting up with all my questions and concerns expressed in numerous phone calls. Thanks also to the members who helped me in my decision making.

Please Ignore the BMW plate cover....used to be a MINI owner and my plate registration sticker is stuck on the outside...got on a cold winter day...

Looks good man. Also curious on specs of the wheels and I looked through your past threads to see what you were dropped on, but didn't see any mention of that.

Looks good but as pcasey said tires are too thick... And u need h&r's or coilovers to close up the rest of that wheel gap then u will be straight

Drop looks uneven for some reason. Front looks perfect but rear looks like it sits a bit high. Overall, drop is great for DD. And personally, I'm a fan of the thick tires seeing as how I just bent my rim with a 40 series tire...

I disagree, if this is a daily it looks pretty good IMO. The thicker tires fill the gap. Would I got lower? Probably but he may like the ride height.

To OP car looks great!! As a fellow BS g37 that has Aero kit on the way your car gives me a good idea on what mine will look like

Thanks...this is my daily driver. I was thinking of putting swift or H&R rear springs so it drops a little more on the back, but with the crappy Toronto roads I would have to run negative camber and then my tires would be gone. I am rubbing a bit as it is on big dips, will have to slightly shave the bracket. The tires are just great regarding the ride quality...much better than the S drives I had on OEM 19s.

Thanks....just make sure you don't do what I did and get the fogs after installing the bumper, just do it all at once. will save you a whole lot of trouble....

Does look good man. I would like a little lower but as a daily it's hard to do that. I want to go decently low with mine, but I just bought a house with a steep driveway so once I get moved in I'm gonna have to measure and see just how low I am able to go lol. Props on the car coming together man. The spoiler and sides are next on my list. Then wheels and Coilovers. Or eibachs if my driveway only allows that.

A steep driveway shouldn't hinder you too much brother...I will send you a pic of mine via PM, and its all about the angle you approach it on. I don't even rub on the front bumper at all

Tires too thick? It looks great like it is...
The tire diameter is almost the same as stock which keeps everything in check. The drop is just right for a car that's actually driven daily. No ridiculous camber settings needed either...and no stretched tires because of wheels that are too wide.
Very nice look...

OP did a great job!

Thank you....I have a hard time getting down the ramp into my condo as it is..it takes about 30 seconds just to get the angle right on the steep slope to make sure I don't scrape the bumper going down and the exhaust coming up...quite a challenge

thanks....as it is I'm 0.7% within specs. As a DD I cannot have any crazy camber settings. I am still thinking about swift springs on the rear but I don't know if it would be worth it, for and extra 0.25" drop....still debating....
