Need some offset help

I know there are tons of threads on offsets, but can't seem to find what I am looking for, so I apologize in advance if I am duplicating posts.

Will be getting a set of 19s with following specs:

front 19x9 or 19 x 8.5 w/ 245/40/19 tires
Rear-19x10 w/275/35/19 tires
This should 275/30/19 tires if I want to go +0 right?

What offsets should I be getting to make these flush with either an eibach or swift drop spring?

This is for a 2011 coupe.

+15 front and +25 rear would be good IMO. Though everyone's idea of flush is different.

if you are looking to upgrade to 19x9 in the front, then a + 20 would sit flush... if you are looking at 19x10, then a + 35 would be flush for the rear... quite a few members are running this set up...

Am i understanding offset correctly?

Offset the distance between the absolute middle of the wheel to the hub mounting flange.

A smaller positive offset would locate the wheel further away from the car, where as larger positive would bring it closer towards the car.

Also, there has to be some window of range required to at the minimal, clear the bbk brakes (if so present).
