Sport Wheels on X Coupe
I'm looking for a set of Sport Wheels for my X coupe. I want to keep them the same size, so I'd need either four fronts, or four rears.
Everyone I've seen discussing putting sport wheels on an X has been talking about putting 4 fronts on them. Is there any reason I couldn't put 4 rears on? My understanding is that they're just half an in wider. Would the offset be a problem?
I am not planning on lower my coupe. It's 100% stock in all manners that matter for tire clearance.
There are some other people on the forums looking for sport wheels for their X's, so I'm thinking that if the rears would work, I could team up with one of them to buy two sets of sport wheels and one of us could get four fronts and the other get four rears if they'll fit...

I was looking to get into an 12 G37XS coupe. the dealership told me the tires have to be the same sime at all times for proper AWD transmission function 225/45/19. The set up wheels on the XS sport's package is non-stagered. He also said the steering turning ratio is not the same as the Journey or the 6spd manual.

theres a lot of back and fourth regarding the issue of staggered vs non staggered for the X models.
some people will say that running staggered will cause ABS/trasmissions issues....some people say they've run it without a problem and that its all made up

So what's the final TRUTH. I guess you can save money since you can rotate the tires. With these tires. I guess just get eibach and add HR spacers 15mm or 20mm, and u are SET.

I'm pretty sure the offsets on the 9" S wheels are somewhere in the range of +45ish so you'll be fine. Good luck finding all four wheels the same size though.
And for the record, AWD Gs can run staggered setups just fine as long as the rolling diameter of the tires are with ~3%.

I am running 245 tires all round with staggered wheels. If you are concerned and want to run 225 all around, I'm willing to do a trade. I will trade you my front rims for your rear rims.

Anyone aware of lowering issues with the xS Coupe? Noticed Eibach & H&R have apps for the xS. Read the xS sits about a .5" higher than the standard RWD. All I know is the gaping wheel well space is killing me. Assuming it should be fine for my stock 19s and maybe for 20s?
Much appreciated!
