OFFICIAL: Multi-Piece Wheel Thread
I don't think Autocouture exists anymore...or they actually merged with another rim company or something...they don't disclose the offsets. It's not that aggressive. I bought some 15mm spacers for the back...but since the rims where custom made for the car & for the sport brakes. There was too many studs protruding out...& the rims weren't able to mount on(I.e. the rims aren't universal with several holes in the back.)
Well after cleaning my car today, I found something disturbing:

How long have you had the wheels? I had a small scuff spot INSIDE my lug holes, that they wanted to recoat the whole set for it, but it would have been scratched the second I put lugs on it anyway lol. They said if I had any problems with them, that they would fix it free of charge. DPE does not do their own powdercoating so they were going to give me a reference of a local shop they trust to do the repairs. Worth a shot.

Your second DPE problem I remember the old thread., not much quality control it's two guys sitting in a garage... I'd have them send you a new wheel and sell them and get something else until they can get it together.
They said my warranty is still good and if I want I can send them back. Told them that might be a problem with these being the only set of wheels I have with tires now. The ones that came with the car are pretty bald(got 30k miles out of them) and 3 of the 4 have nails in them but they aren't leaking. Also pointed out I can't roll around on the oem spare since this is my daily driver.
Well, they wont budge, they wont send me a temp wheel... So if I have to take it off and send it to them, the DPE's will be up for sale when I get the one back. They won't repowedercoat all the wheels, just the one. Love how I am getting screwed on this end again. So now I get to make the decision on getting new tires for the OEM's which I didn't plan on using next winter, getting the wheels I planned on for next winter (Volk VR-G2's) in offsets to fit the tires for the DPE's which I didn't want to do (wanted to go with same size but different offsets) as temps to end up reselling again, go with cast wheels in the mean time (which I dont want to do), or keep them for the time being. I don't have the cash for the HRE's at the moment and I am just pissed off now.
Yeah... DPE isn't treating you too well. Tell them you're going to post another thread if they don't send you a wheel. Maybe that will work. Or PM 'DPE G' I think he also buys multiple wheels from them maybe they'll listen to him?

Ok as much as it sucks, thats the name of the game. I'm in no way affiliated with DPE, although I've had great customer service. Who exactly are you dealing with, as in what sales guy? To be honest the cost in forging another wheel, for something that CAN be fixed, is a reach. These are not cast wheels that are mass produced, they are all custom from the ground up. I would not expect them to send you another wheel. Companies who mass produce, cookie cutter offsets, could probably pull this off, as they could repair the wheel and re-sell it with another set.
I can't say they will do anything different, but you can try to contact Manu. He is the one I have delt with on both sets of my wheels, and he is great at what he does. PM me if you would like his direct email, but like I said when you have something that is completley custom, things like this happen. My new wheels are a custom forge, trust me they wern't an overnight project. I have been working with DPE since late last year on these. I know we all hate looking bad rockin a donut or a mismatched wheel but as you can see.... it happens....lol

In all seriousness, the ideal situation, does not include downtime. But as I said, they have people who do their powdercoating, so by fixing it they are at least working with you. Expecting the entire set to be powdercoated.... well if they all had problems yes, but if your door has a scratch should they paint the whole car?
I am not taking sides or standing up for DPE I am just trying to be realistic. I would hate to be in that situation, but you just gotta make it work... either you want it fixed and will take the time to do so properly, or you can fight until they make you a wheel...or tell you no and have to live with what you have. I wouldn't suggest burning too many bridges. Sure you can blast them all over the internet, but in all honesty the G crowd isn't their target buyers. Check their facebook, Rolls Royce, Bently, Lambo, Ferrari, Porsche... they aren't hurting for business, and I think it's at least stand up of them to fix it.

I have been dealing with Sean. I can't have downtown on this car, I don't own two cars anymore. Also cant rock a spare doing 50 miles a day with work. And they are only working with me cause I'm still under my warranty... Even though I got my wheels in August, my warranty started when I ordered them... I'm just pissed at this.
