Need help with wheels

Last night my 09 G37S 19" stock wheels got stolen , I dont have any knowledge about the wheels and tires... I'm planning to get new aftermarket wheels probably 20" Vossen CV1 (suggest me any other nice wheels)....please suggest me the best aspect ratio/ offset and tire choice such that wheel wont stick out and looks good...please advice me if i need to make any changes for increasing the wheel size to 20" from 19"????

That sucks bro... everyone will chime in and say use the search feature instead of providing useful suggestions.

FYI.

Hope everything works out.

That sucks. Hope everything works out for you.

Only thing you got going is that those rims from the dealer are kinda pricey. You could probably get some really nice rims and tires for what the insurance will give you.

As far as offset suggestions, I got nothing. I won't tell you to search like some of the forum gods will tell you, but I did recently read a thread (like last week) about that same exact subject, and people had some really good suggestions in there. Should be either on this page or the next of this section.

Good luck and post pics when you get the new ones on!

Sucks... At least they left you the lug nuts.

From what I have read and seen the Vossens are a good choice, and figure the OEM price on those wheels and tires (insurance should cover both) is going to be over a grand per. You should be able to find something really nice for that.

Vossens front wheels are usually 9" wide, so I'd suggest going with about a +25mm offset with a 245/35/20 tire.
For the rears your gonna look at a 10.5" width for that staggered fitment and performance. Look for around a +30mm offset matched with a 275/30/20 tire. The rear bumper bracket will need to be trimmed probably if you lower it which you will want to do. I'd suggest springs that give you a moderate drop as the sizes and offsets I suggested are moderate. Or coilovers so you can dial in a height you prefer. Eibach pro-kit is a bit too conservative for me but the h&r and Tein stechs will lower you more than you'll prob like. Something a little lower than the pro-kit will be good.
I hope that helps and you are able to get going again quickly and hassle free. Sucks to see your wheels stolen. Quite frequent around the north NJ/ NYC area too. Wheel thieves are the scum of the earth.

Did you have wheel locks on too? (not that wheel locks will deter a determined thief, but they may slow 'em down slightly).

I have 2 wheel locks per wheel. Shouldn't that make in extremely difficult for a douche to ****** my wheels? Or if they want them, they will get them? Sucks! I feel it for you brotha...if I ever caught someone doing this to ANY car I would reek havoc on them.

The G bandit strikes again.... What is your budget? Would be much easier to suggest something then.

after searching throughout the forum i decided to go with the Vossen CV1's +32/ +42 offset with Hankook V12 Tires 245/35/20 and 285/30/25. Let me know your thoughts.
My insurance covers my front bumper and side Skirts - I was going through the IPL/ Aerodynamic bumper swap Idea thread and I like that front bumper...can some one summarizes what I need to fit that 2011 sport front bumper for my 09 G37S please
