My wheels are peeling

I have looked for over an hour and dont see this posted anywhere Forgive me if I've missed it .

I have a 2008 G37S Automatic and all four of my rims are peeling off a coating of some sort. The car is under warranty for another 30 days .. will the dealership cover this? Anybody else had this issue ?

I am also having the door trim and sterring wheel peeling issues.

Thanks in advance

I dont know about the door trim or wheel but my steering wheel trim was peeling and I took it in and got a new steering wheel for free.

that's probably the clear coat coming off the wheels. your using a really abrasive/caustic wheel cleaner if that is happening. switch to just soap and water. if it's not covered under warranty get a rim repair person to fix and respray the clear coat

your using a caustic cleaning agent. stay away from those on OUR rims, as our paint is very soft and gentle and comes off easily. gentle car wash soap & water is all you can use.

dont even use dish-washing soap as its properties break down grease, and that will break down your clear coat and dull it- to the point where its so dry it will chip off as well.
