Unhappy Vossen Center Caps

Has anyone with Vossens, specifically the CV1s had problems with their center caps? I've already had two come off. One fell off while I was driving and the other was half way hanging off and I pulled it off. Now there's already another one be that's kind of loose. When I tap on it with my finger i can hear some play in it. It looks like the adhesive that they use on the back of the cap isn't very strong... Why am I having these types of problems with $2000 wheels??

whoah I have never heard of centercaps coming off like that.... contact Vossen, they should be able to help you

I thought centercaps are supposed to be snugged tight with the wheels, no way you can even ply it off by force.

Weird, I have had 2 sets and I've never had this happen. Mine have never come off, never been loose, ect. Just get new ones.....not the end of the world.

It's not the end of the world but it's just bs when something like this happens to such an expensive set of wheels. When i ordered the wheels they were missing the caps too. I contacted Vossen and they sent me new ones. Two of them were scratched like crazy but i said whatever. But now I've lost one and the other one that was loose i'm using gorilla glue to hold it together so hopefully it'll be ok.

Vossen Cv1 center caps suck. I've seen first hand. Hopefully they will replace it for you.. They need a better design.

what I suggest is putting the center caps after the wheels have been mounted and balanced. The guy balancing the wheels messed up the center caps in the same manner, because the glue is still new, the caps fall off easily.
