Hankook are pretty decent tires.

I don't think it's the tires, I think it's your driving habits. If you simply cannot avoid driving through potholes, slow down. Also, make sure they're always properly inflated. That helps.

I've been driving in Houston since 1989. All sorts of cars... Camaros, BMWs, Corvettes, Cadillacs, Jeeps, Trucks, Ferraris, and this G37. I've not had ONE single sidewall blow out in 22 years with other tires, but now two Hankook tires have blown out from hitting a few ordinary potholes... and not even at high speeds. Perhaps I got a bad batch of tires????... dont know.. but I'm not going to risk buying them again when there are a large variety of other tires out there

so back to my question if anyone could help here...

1. would it look good
2. what will the ride quality be like compared to what I have now. I'm not looking for more sporty or performance, rather looks and feel

Looks are subjective so I won't be much help there. Lots of others using that size combo on the boards though so I'm sure a pic is floating around.

760 is a great dd tire, sell a good amount of them. Dry, wet, ride, noise all perform well with that one. Have not had anyone disappointed with them.
