Blue Slate Sedan on Gunmetal sport 19's, keep them?
I'm wondering if I should keep these sport 19's I picked up. I didn't like them at first, so I put them up for sale, but now they are kind of growing on me. What should I do in your opinion?

They look sweet. Like everyone has said, finish off the theme by painting the headlights + door trims + rear chrome piece black to set everything off nicely. Btw your front end is crying for a lip!

I like everything listed except for the headlight overlays. Have you seen the pics of these installed?
IMO they look very tacky and cheapen the overall look of the vehicle. On top of that, it will affect the light output since you are covering the lenses with cheap tinted vinyl. You should just paint them instead!

The lenses aren't covered, they have cut out's. I've had overlays before, and when they are installed correctly I think they look excellent. If I was committed to keeping the car for awhile I'd get them painted, but the prices the custom shops charge are too ridiculous to consider IMO. I'll do the overlays instead for now, plus I can take them off at any time.
Get all that other stuff on first because it will definitely change the look of your car. The stockers are good for a stock looking car and the gunmetal looks good with your color but once you get too much other stuff done then you just need to go all the way!
I have blue slate, too, xCoupe, and I was 50-50 on the gunmetal rims myself v. gloss black with a machined lip. I eventually bought the latter. It was a virtual coin toss.
So I am interested in the look on your car. I'd say keep the gunmetal, smoke the lights for sure. I just did my front and back lights with BlueBat's vinyl overlay. Cheap and easy with a great local installer. I did order the GTR cutaways and don't think they look tacky in the least.
Good luck and drive safely and have fun!
