Looks like some folks haven't read the first post (or some of the responses along the way)...nobody is buying knock offs. I've bought many pairs of custom wheels in my time. Anything that goes on my vehicle is always quality.

I was just saying don't buy them in general, bc somebody suggested it. Here's the bronze TE i was talking about.

Yeah but there is no really good shot of mag blue straight up. They are all taken at weird angles.

That was just more of a general statement...not necessarily directed at anyone in particular. Just several comments through the thread...no offense.

Thanks for the pics...yeah, was looking at those prior. I'd definitely consider something in line with them but still seeing if I can justify the te pricepoint

I just said that because OP mentioned that he "can't justify the cost". Just trying to help the OP out by giving him options. I love Volks and I love mine, I don't care if people rock replicas as long as they don't fake the funk and put real stickers on fake wheels.

Look for a blue slate with the wheels that you like and SRG can paint them mag blue with Photoshop.

Thanks...but I'm not really interested in replicas. It's not that I can't afford volks. I've bought quite a few sets over the years....I just don't know that I want to spend the premium on TE's given the condition of the roads that I normally drive. Our roads are very poorly kept here so your bound to bang up your wheels sooner or later.

At the end of the day though, I've had my eye on TEs for a bit...given my nature, I will probably end up with a set sooner or later. But for now, I will probably stick to a less pricey volk (or other nice wheel) if I can find one I think will match.

I'm leaning towards VOLKS as I've used them on other cars and have always liked them but I'm open to other suggestions as well (not too big on Vossen but some are nice...actually, not that I don't like them, just tired of seeing them on G's). In regards, to VOLKS, I'd like to stay away from the GT30's as they are too abundant on G's (although I agree they do look good =) ).
I would say go with Volks since obviously they are great wheels, i guess just try to get a different finish to match. I asked where you live because just about every wheel I see on the road here has Volks( h-town), yes on G's as well. Your right I do think this forum as too many vossens, but I never see them on the road. As you can see on this thread there are a lot of Volk people on here which is great. I as well had volks at first until I started seeing my wheels at every gas station I would stop at. VOLKs FTW though
