Volk or Vossen?

So I'm looking at two wheels I could get a good deal on and can't decide so I'm looking for some opinions.

First set are Volk GT-C 19x8.5 +24/ 19x9.5 +27
Second set are Vossen CV2 20x9 +20/ 20x10 +25

Going on an OB Sport coupe. Haven't lowered it yet but plan to soon with something mild like H-Techs

Aged Kobe steak or In-N-Out burger? Both serve the same purpose and are delicious. I know which I would choose.

Sincerely,
Owner of a set of Volk GT-C

Vossen, I think they look great on G37! Btw, we have mind-blowing sale from Vossen now. If you buy a set of four VOSSEN wheels, you get up to $400 OFF!

A good deal? Go to Amazon if you want a good deal, but if you're trying to decide between these two options, buy it for what it's truly worth. Key words there are, "truly worth.". Good luck sir.

Volk or Vossen?

Leaning more toward the Volks I think. I know Vossens seem to be the cool thing to do these days but I don't think it really compares to a classic 2-piece Volk.

One other question for those with Volks. How are you guys running your TPMS? I saw two options on the iForged sight, one is a 90 degree adaptor that I assume is an actual valve stem and then they have a bracket as well that attaches to a valve stem. Can I use either one if the wheels already have the valve stems?

You know which ones you really want. There's not a lot of us that have these on G37s and they look amazing. Every 3rd G that you see has Vossens. Not that there's anything wrong with them (other than the weight and high price for what you get), but they're not special.

I used the adapter at first. Now I have mine mounted by strapping the TPMS to the center of the barrel and use the Volk 90 degree valve stems. Most wheel shops can do it. It's just a metal strap that holds it in place inside the tire.

Volk or Vossen?

Thanks BlackBetty. I've seen the straps before but wasn't sure if there was an advantage to one setup over the other

For me, with the pics posted I'd go with Vossen. It all depends on the wheel style for me. Personally I do not like the look of 5 spoke wheels on the G37. Its such a big car and the wheels just look very out of place to me. So for the content in this post...Vossen
