Vertini Magic Concave and Offset help please

Hey people. I've used the search function, and i've still gotten somewhat unclear answers related to offset. I have the 2009 g37 sedan non-sport, and I'm going to buy the Vertini Magic Concave wheels in 20" diameter. I'm planning on lowering on the Eibach pro-kit, but I'm having a hard time picking the front wheel and offset.

In the rear i'm pretty sure i'm getting the 10" wide with 35mm offset. I'm not sure what size to get in the front. I have the following options

8.5" 25mm
8.5" 35mm
9" 20mm
9" 32mm offset

First and foremost I want to minimize or avoid rubbing, secondly I want the wheels to be somewhat flush. I know there are a million offset questions out there, but I appreciate any insight/opinions you guys have. I'll be sure to post pics once I order and install.

I know! I've seen the pics of them on your coupe, and thought they were sick. I just don't want the rear wheels to stick out and have the front tucked or vice versa. Anyone's help would be great.

Since you are getting an Eibach drop i I would suggest that you go with the 20x9 +32 this will not rub on the liner with the eibach drop.

PM sent to kool_yarr. I just called my wheel guy to place my order and he said he thought the 9" wide with the 32mm offset upfront was too aggressive for the sedan with eibach pro-kit drop. He's consulting with Vertini in California. It's only 7am Cali time, so it looks like i'm going to be on hold for a few hours.

They are wrong. It will be perfect, if not slightly tucked. I ran Eibachs with my 20x9" +25 (so mine are 7mm more aggressive, and I barely rubbed). Anything over +28 to +30 should be more than OK if you are running Eibachs without camber arms in the front. Trust me, you will be disappointed if you don't go with the 9" +32. I run 20x10" +35 on the rear also....

Thanks for the help people. Jran76, I appreciate it. I just ordered. I'm going with the " 32mm offset up front. I hope this works out well *fingers crossed*

It will work. With the negative camber from the Eibach drop, your front wheels will be tucked in just a tad from the fender (3-4mm), and should easily clear everything. Just don't go over a 245/35/20 tire on the front (you may even be able to run a 5mm spacer to make it more flush, but you will be really close to rubbing at that point).

The rear is actually going to be more aggressive than the front, and will poke out 3-4mm from the fender. I would stick with a 275/30/20 on the rear. You will need around -1.7 to just under -2 degrees of negative camber to clear the rear fender depending on the tires (I cleared at -1.65). The Eibach's should give you about that, but I would consider adding SPC/Eibach camber arms on the rear just in case. They are cheap, and give you more adjustment if you need it (in either direction). You also may need to trim the felt fender liner on the rear. There is no fender to rub on, but you will likely rub on the felt liner inside it. It is easy to trim with a utility knife or Dremel. Good luck.

9" +20 will be somewhat flush and match the "flushness" of your rears. You will not rub. Dont worry. Trust me.

I have 9.5 +17 and i dont rub.

Yeah with 225 stretched tires and a lot of negative camber.... I have said this before, but don't post this without saying what is needed to make it fit. I am 100% sure you are running more negative camber than what Eibach's naturally give with stretched tires. If you want to brag, give details so people know what they are in for. I have seen you post this stuff for years, and you never give any details. What you are saying is very misleading to the average person.

I am running wheels that are 5mm less aggressive than what you are recommending with Eibachs, and now Tein SS-P coilovers, and I rubbed with both setups with 245/35 tires.

Yup. The 10" +35 is about 4mm more aggressive, and as I mentioned, they will probably stick out about 4mm. Running the 275 tires and a little negative camber will take care of that extra 4mm (and slightly narrower wheel).

Edit: Looks good by the way. What is the front offset, and how does it look? I am assuming you are running 245 tires on the front....

I owe you guys big. Thanks for all the input. I mad an error in listing my rear offset. I'll have the 38mm offset in the rear, not the 35mm. My bad peeps. The final details on my set up is as follows:

20"
Front: 9", 32mm offset, 245/35/20
Rear: 10", 38mm offset, 275/30/20

Continental extreme contact DW tires. Thanks again for everything people.
