wondering what the impact of slightly smaller tire (~1cm) would be? Issue is the AS tire I like, continental extreme contact dws, is not avail in 225/45/19. No really good, in my opinion, AS tire comes in that size.

you could look into 245/40/19 same as rear... might be a little more expensive.

 

I wouldn't suggest the DWS for your G. I have them on my Volvo XC90 and they are great but you will give up too much performance With this tire on your Infiniti.

Have you considered the Pilot Sport A/S? Or the PS 2 A/S? This is a more appropriate tire for your ride. I had these on a previous 300 hp car and they were awesome!

 

I ha the pilot sport a/s in 215/55/17 on my maxima se for several years before getting this new car and loved them. The DWS seems to get knocked for a mushy sidewall by more than a couple of reviews.

 

Pilot Sport A/S Or the PS 2 A/S are best tires for the Gs, I have it on my coupe and will be on the vert as soon the factory tires are done.
