Vibrating ~ Adverse Effects
Me and the OP tried switching wheels today and it seems the hub rings he received dont fit in the wheels correctly and with the rings in the wheels the wheels did not sit flush against the hub/rotor
Hubcentric rings may help, but I would head Mike's advice if you still have vibrations. I recommend running hubcentric rings, but I can also promise you that it is possible to not have vibration without them. I am not running them on my Advan's right now (same bore as the Volk's), and my car is smooth as glass up to 120+ mph. With the right lugs, installed the right way, you should not have vibration. It is fully possible to properly center the wheel with the lug nuts.
I sold my hubcentric rings with my last set of Volk's and the ones I ordered were not in when I got the tires mounted on my Advan's, so I installed them without. One year later (and taking my wheels off probably 8 times), and still no vibration. I have the rings sitting here and will probably will install them at some point when I have the wheels off again, but I assure you if you know what you are doing you can get by without.
