Quick question are the TPMS in the 11's the same as the 08-10's?? To make it easy I have an 11 and im about to buy aftermarket wheels and I have 08 sensors, will it work?? Thanks
These thing are over rated. When i got my after market wheels didn't bother putting these on there.
I agree with you, though my only concern is when I was test fitting the wheels I only had the driver side on(2 aftermarket) and my stocks on the other side, the car started acting retarded like my speedo not working and all the dash lights on... Is it caused the ecu was confused because 2 wheels had tpms and 2 didn't??
That's weird. When one of them went out on me just that light came on. The dealers had to test all of them to find the bad one. Happen to me twice when i was on my stock wheels. Now that light just stays on and i hope one day it burns out. lol
On my '11 sedan I swapped em over to my new set of wheels (20") and my light went off after mounting it. I was suprised I didn't have to go to the dealer to reset them.
Build date on G from March 2010 and foward have the new tpms system. Older tpms sensor will not work even though they look exactly the same. I found out the hard way.

I think my car has the new ones... not to throw the thread off topic but what is the difference?
