Long time lurker lookin for some advice, bought my 2008 G this year in January with ~32k miles and now I'm looking to add some stuff to it, really digging the Vossen wheels and I've researched them a little bit on the web and on other forums, hear they have good customer service so I'm pretty set I want a set of rims from them just not sure which model because they all look hot!

Right now my G is on the stock sport coupe rims (gunmetal I guess?) and I'm leaning more towards the CV1's I've seen in this thread, also gunmetal.

Here's a photo of my G, it's been lowered I'd say about an inch maybe 1.5 inches from stock on aftermarket springs, that's really all thats been done to it. I think I'd prefer the stock 19s as opposed to 20s however I can't seem to find any CV1s in 19, only 20. I Actually love the stock rims and I feel the paint and wheel color really work well together but I have some curb rash on the passenger front and rear and was thinking of just replacing them with OEM but for the same ballpark amount of money I could get some after market rims instead that would maybe set my car off even better.

I'd like some opinions on rim model that would look best/better on my ride and ideally where I can get some locally around Jacksonville FL 32224 or even on the web.

Thanks!

Car looks great with your drop, i also love the stock sport 19s and to keep that similar look with some concave action with a nice shiny lip! i say for sure go for the limited edition CV1s. CV1s LE have the matte graphite face with Gloss graphite lip, go 20s man. Here is a perfect example.

Offsets you will want are the 32/42 with 245/35/20 and 285/30/20

I'm not opposed to 20's but my concern is that if I go that route, since my car is lowered the way it is on springs and I can't adjust it easily and I go 245 fronts and 275 rears like I had planned to do, it'll rub and this is my daily driver, hence I was looking at the 19s. I've been talking to a few car buddies around town and they put me in contact with someone that can get some wheels for me but no details yet.

The CV1s were my first choice, definitely a fan!

Ideas???

Diego wouldnt do that to you man! You should be fine as long as you go with his recomended tire size with those wheels/offsets. DO IT!

Gotcha, I just feel like the combination of 20s plus those big tires would be too big.......a little skeptical I guess.

Stick to those specs and you will not rub, it's been done with lower drops, you will be fine. 20s would look best IMHO. Good luck to you, if you need anything please let me know.

I ordered those exact offsets and tire sizes but im doing matt graphite CV7s instead.

Do you think CV1 matt graphite look better? The CV1 looks like a lighter graphite in pics than the graphite CV7s, why is that?

Right now im dropped on eibach with 245/35/20 and 285/30/20 and im not rubbing at all, still a good amount of room actually.

I like the matt graphite CV1 and CV7's the best. I think its a tough call between those two but id say CV7's are slightly on top for the win.

Looks sick on white, and on a graphite/black G im guessing these would also look amazing. Surprised nobody has done it yet!
