Wheel fitment question?

I've been doing research for the past 2 hours and can't seem to get a straight answer. I was wondering if I could fit a 20x10.5 +25 wheel in the rear with a 285/30/20 tire on a 2008 g37S coupe without any problems. Does this sound feasible? Thanks.

Nope. I have Offset +25 for rear, 20x10.5 and I have 265/30/20. I might go 275/30/20 but then I have to have - camber.

Now I am lowered with S-tech,
Shaved wheel inner liner, bracket.
and stretched tires. which were must.
Camber now at -1.2 at rear
NO RUB

How are you 265/30 and +25 at only -1.2deg? I'm higher than you, 275/30, +30, no lining, and they can't bring it in more than -3.0deg...

what do you mean they can't bring it in more then -3 degree camber? Why can't they? You should always fully be able to adjust your camber with the SPC kit, its just a matter of where you want it set at to avoid rubbing...or if you're more worried about tire wear.

It rubs at -3.0, if I take it in more it gets bad.

What are you rubbing? Did you shave/remove the fender bracket?

Hammered it upward but yeah. I'm about a finger gap tire to fender on all four corners.

What else could you be rubbing on? When I saw you car you were a bit lower than me in the rear. I'm running a 285/30 with 0 rubbbing, but my offsets are conservative. Alignment shop should be able to dial in you camber a little more I would think. Is your tire hitting fender or maybe try shaving or removing that bracket completely...

Might also be his Tein are softer then your JICs so he is getting more travel distance. May have add sways to stiffen it up. I know when I fisrt had just my coils set at a soft setting I rubbed quite a bit but then I stiffened them up and added sways and had very little to no rubbing. Not sure what else to do though.

Edit: NM looks like you have Hotchkis so ignor everything I just wrote..lol.

^ I didn't think about that... JICs are pretty stiff and I don't think my offsets will rub either way. Weiboy was running slammed JICs with +29 rear wheels and had to have -3.2 camber, so maybe that's just how it is. I think Voltic is running Hotchkis sways according to his sig.

Yup I don't know how, but I am at

-1.2 Camber at the Rear
With S-tech
SPC Camber Kits
Brackets Shaved
265/30/20 Tires (one finger gap)
Even With 4 People (Me and three girls)

NEVER EVER RUBBED
is this not normal? lol

Then I am going to run 275/30/20 at the rear

Hell I don't know. I'm going to trim the brackets down some when I get home today and probably raise the car a bit. Yeah I'm running Hotchkis sway bars.
