I have a 2010 G37xS and just swapped the stock wheels/tires for the new winter wheels/tires i just bought without tire pressure sensors. I did not realize the sensor would keep tripping on the dash, is there anyway to stop it until I put the original wheels/tires back on in spring?

 

no, you have to deal with the idiot light. I just had my new winter setup put on today as well, when my wife sees the tpms light tomorrow, she ain't gonna be too happy.

 

You'll get used to it, just be sure to check your tire pressure much more often & surely before any extended trips.

 

Stick a small piece of duct tape over it. BOOM! Problem solved

 

You could buy those little valve caps that turn into red when the pressure is below 32lb. Just a thought.

 

just deal with the light, thats why most of us do. not worth the cost of a new set of tpms then reprogramming every winter/spring

 

Agreed the light is an issue all of us must deal with, my solution? just ignore it.. lol "if you dont worry about it, it wont matter" =P
