Aftermarket wheels that are too small is not an upgrade. If performance was so important they could have kept it stock.
Making a sale should never come before good salesmanship. It looks no better with wheels that don't match aesthetically. To me, it's worse. If dealers gave better customer centered advise more customers would come.
Sorry for my rant but I remember being at the mercy of dealers before I learned all about wheel fitment.
