2011 G37S 6MT Wheels?? Are they the IPL wheels?? Bueller??

Can anyone actually confirm this...or is it just being assumed because of the 'G37 walkaround' flyer posted that shows an IPL G37 as the picture (which makes no sense)?

Ive haven't read anything official..yet people have replied to threads saying, "Its been stated that the IPL wheel is the new 19-inch wheel for all SPORT models"

Just want to know where its been stated. Or if there is actually an official statement/proof that the IPL wheel is the new Sport/6MT wheel.. Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? Frye? Frye?

No, they're not. The G37 walkaround flyer shows the IPL G37 Coupe becuase it says right on it that the flyer is for the G37 Coupe Sport 6MT, IPL, and models with the Sport Package.

Like I said, that much I assumed. And yes, i know its a pic of an IPL G37 on the walkaround...

But there are people on here, WHITE_G said "It's been stated before the IPL wheels are the new SPORT wheels for all coupes with sport" from (https://www.myg37.com/forums/g37-cou...karound-2.html) and from a few others like SCOTTYBGOOD from (https://www.myg37.com/forums/g37-cou...t-s-new-3.html) claiming that the IPL wheels are the new g37 sport 6mt wheels... So..

I just thought I missed something.. So the bottom line is we still DO NOT know what the G37 SPORT 6MT Wheels look like... right?

The Infiniti press release on the IPL says that the wheels are exclusive to the IPL.

"Combined with the exclusive 19-inch IPL split 7-spoke graphite-finish wheels and low-profile W-rated Bridgestone Potenza RE050A performance tires, the IPL G Coupe projects a confident stance and road-ready attitude."

Nissan/Infiniti News Room

So that means the wheels are on the IPL only and that, yes, we still don't know what the G37 SPORT 6MT wheels look like.

So, I guess we shall see when infiniti decides to let people know. I just have trouble understanding when infiniti says, "the IPL has unique IPL wheels for the IPL" that they could be the same as a SPORT 6MT. Doesn't make any sense that they would be the same wheel.

I get the feeling the graphite finish on the wheels will be unique to the IPL, as for the wheel itself not sure. There are conflicting sources though (like you said IPL has "unique" wheels" yet brochure says the wheels are for 6MT IPL and Sport packages.

You could be onto something with the graphite finish being unique to the IPL. Everything Ive read, from Infiniti to car and driver, etc., all said the same thing, the IPL wheels were unique to IPL, hence the reason to get the car..but i suppose "graphite finish" could be the unique part..lol.. I suppose we will know soon enough.

I have to turn my 2008 g37s 6MT in next month, and trying to decide on a new car, and Infiniti isnt making it easy for me to decide, since I still dont know what the wheels look like on a '11 g37 6mt coupe..kinda frustrating at this point.

i never said anything... but even if i said something, doesn't mean you have to believe me.

IPL is virtually the replacement of the 2010 MY G37 coupe anniversary edition but finally gets a whopping 25whp from the exhaust,ECU,stiffer suspension (compared with the OEM sport suspension), the anniversary type red leather (auto only) or the graphite with red stitching(6mt or auto)

and no more bashing about the horsepower... it's still a true value for a naturally aspirated luxury sports coupe

im on vacation im not writing exact specs. 3whp, 6whip.... who is going to buy one and actually use it?

i think a lot of drivers will accomplish better gains by spending money on a driving school than to do spend it on bolt ons.
