All Season Tires vs Snow Tires
I tried both and stopped on good all seasons. Winters are great but you need to change them next spring, all seasons don't. Also I do have Blizzaks on my Jeep just in case of snow/ice and G will stay in garage if so. Besides all seasons producing less noise.
Def go with 4 snow. You figure you only have them on 3-4 months out of the year. Just don't leave the OEM 19's on and drive through 3 blizzards like I did last year. How I didn't wreck about 100 times over can only be due to extremely dumb luck. And VDC. This year I got 4 Blizzaks on 18's and a truck to drive when the snow comes.

I work in Freehold
I wouldn't go into a panic. I drove my s2000 through the worst of every snow storm we had last year from Tinton Falls to Freehold. If I can do it in an s2k, you can in a G37.
Snow driving is easy. Go slow, give yourself plenty of time. Keep your distance, tailgating is bad! If some dingus is tailgating you, pull off as much as you can and let them pass (you don't want to get rear ended). Wait a second at lights to make sure the cross traffic stops! (best advice ever) Lots of accidents are from cars sliding through an intersection.

you can, but it's almost the same price for cheap 18" wheels + snows as just snows on 19's. Also you don't have to spend close to $100 in the summer to swap your tires, and again in the winter. Not to mention you won't have road salt eating your rims, and if you do slide into a curb or hit a nasty pot hole I'd rather ding up cheap wheels.
